PYCS is able to run a set of campaigns with the help of its sponsors.
Sponsor a youth today.
Budget cuts have affected all of us who are committed to helping at-risk youth get their lives on track. At Pathfinder Youth Centre Society (PYCS), we’re getting creative to raise funds for our clients – at-risk young people (aged 15-30) who want to turn their lives around.
With our Give Change to See Change campaign, we are asking 1,000 people to commit to donating $2.00 per month, or a one-time donation of $24.00 per year. Donations can be collected anywhere – a change jar in the kitchen to a drop box on your store counter. A Toonie for Tomorrow Help us provide the basic necessities to our youth in transition.
At PYCS, we focus on round the clock, one-on-one mentorship with our clients, providing them with life skills, a path to completing their education and preparing them to enter the workforce and address basic needs such as food, clothing and shelter.

Starting a new life sometime requires basic necessities. At PYCS, we create our Just In Case (JIC) packages – those items like toiletries, clothing and warm blankets – so our clients can focus on learning new skills because they aren’t wondering how to stay clean and warm. In addition to JIC, our We Feed Program provides food basics – because no one can learn on an empty stomach!
Our JIC packages contain basic everyday items. They’re given to all young people who are transient, transitioning or struggling financially.
We are always looking for the following items for our JIC packages:
PYCS always welcomes your support in the form of these basic necessities or funds. If you wish to donate funds or basic necessities – or if you have questions – please call our office: (604) 598-2703 or email us: email@example.com
Nutrition for life.
We Feed is an in-house food bank available to our young people. Why do we offer this resource? With a struggling economy, there is increasing pressure on our community food banks. Add to that the self-consciousness our clients sometimes experience. “It’s embarrassing to be seen in a line up,” explains one participant. With our in-house food bank, we can provide our clients with nutritious food on-site, at any time, no appointment needed.
On Site Meals
No one can learn properly on an empty stomach. We Feed donations also help us create and serve meals to our clients who haven’t had anything to eat before or during their PYCS program.
With Just In Case and We Feed , we care for our participants’ basic needs until they are able to provide for themselves.
We always welcome your contribution of funds, food or gift cards for our We Feed Program. Make a donation online now.
